Dr. Khayat is an Assistant Clinical Professor at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. His clinical interests include sleep medicine and critical care. Dr. Khayat has done research on cardiovascular interactions of sleep apnea and sleep disorders and heart failure and has published articles in journals like The Journal of physiology, Chest, and American journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine. He received his MD from Tishreen University and is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care and sleep medicine by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Khayat belongs to the American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and Wisconsin State Medical Society.
