Dr. Tevar graduated from the University of Missouri School of Medicine in 1998 with his medical degree. He completed his general surgery residency at Indiana University's Medical School in 2003 and finished his solid organ transplant fellowship at the University of Chicago in 2004. He came to the University of Cincinnati in 2004 as a Transplant Fellow. Dr. Tevar is currently an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Transplantation at the University of Cincinnati. He also is the director of Surgical Student Education, the Transplant Surgery Fellowship Program, and the Pancreas Transplant Program.
