Dr. Exline is an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. His clinical research includes pulmonary infections, critical care, and asthma. Dr. Exline does research on innate immune response to infections, smoking and asthma, and he has published articles in journals like Thorax, Critical Care Medicine, and Chest, to name a few. Dr. Exline received his MD from the University of Nevada and is licensed and board certified by the Fundamentals of Critical Care Support, Ohio Licensure, American Board of Critical Care, Advance Cardiac Life Support, American Board of Pulmonary Disease, Advance Trauma Life Support and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Exline belongs to the American Thoracic Society, Society of Critical Care Medicine, American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society, Ohio Thoracic Society, Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, and American Medical Association.
