NetWellness & ideastream - A New Kind of Partnership

ideastream's health series, Body in Pain airing on WVIZ/PBS and 90.3 WCPN in January, 2012.

NetWellness, now in its 16th year, is a consumer information website from Case Western Reserve University, The Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati.

NetWellness and ideastream are collaborating to bring more understanding to the health and medical issues you care about. ideastream is a non-profit public broadcasting organization including WVIZ/PBS, 90.3 WCPN, and other educational and public service media.

Through this partnership, you will be able to watch and listen as ideastream brings you the latest information through their radio and television programs, and NetWellness puts added, in-depth and reliable information from world renowned medical experts at your fingertips.

ideastream's latest series, Body in Pain, airs from Friday, January 20 through Friday January 27, 2012. Programming is available on their respective websites: 90.3 WCPN.

ideastream presents Body in Pain in collaboration with NetWellness, The Plain Dealer, the City Club of Cleveland, and WKYC Channel 3 News as a multiple media exploration of the anatomy and management of pain. This special coverage will examine everything from acute to chronic pain, why pain is often not treated well by doctors, and the emotional toll pain can take on individuals and their families. The series will also explore the latest research and new technologies being developed to measure and treat pain plus an examination of non-traditional remedies. There will also be a live panel discussion.
