What is `pseudo obstruction`?07/18/1999 |
We are told that our mother with PD who has had severe bowel problems is suffering from "pseudo obstruction". What does this mean? She has been hospitalized 2 times for impactions. Is this connected with her PD? Will she always need tube feeding? She is so miserable she wants to die!
Constipation is a common problem in PD. It is not possible for me to answer the other questions which are best discussed with her primary physician.
