How Long Should I Wait for Seed Implant After a Lupron Shot?01/10/2000 |
I have been waiting for 4 months after taking a 30mg Lupron Depot shot for prostate cancer, when could seed implant be administered?
Essentially, any time thereafter. Some urologists and radiotherapists prefer to wait a few months to permit shrinkage of the gland. This decision would be based on the size of the gland at the time of diagnosis. I am sure your physician should be able to provide guidance to you on this issue.
