There are many factors that are associated with tooth ache and gum diseases. The most common causes of tooth ache are tooth decay, recession, erosion and deep restorations {fillings]. Gum disease presents with a wide clinical spectrum ranging from gingivitis [inflammation of gum] to periodontics [inflammation of ligaments that bind tooth to the bone].
