What is the difference between AIDS and HIV?
The difference between HIV infection and AIDS is-AIDS occurs when the T cells or CD4 cells fall below 200 or the percentage falls below 14%.The definition of AIDS also includes the occurrence of an AIDS defining oppurtunistic illness, for exapmle PCP pnemonia, toxoplasmosis, lymphoma, fungal infections-histo, cocci, etc.
