Lupus

Lumps on head

11/28/2000

Question:

my partner has lumps (2) on her head and one on her neck. she has only had them for a few days. we noticed one one day and the others the next. they are hard, under her skin and are about the size of a marble. they are very sore. any idea what is causing them? she was diognosed about 6 years ago with SLE. not sure if that is important in this case or not. please advise.

Answer:

Without a clinical evaluation I cannot diagnose your condition. However I would suggest seeing your physician to have the lumps evaluated.
