Depression

Question:

One of my friends has lupus and has been suffering mild bouts of depression. Is there anyway to help her snap out of it? Also, is there any certain trigger to cause the depression?

Answer:

Depression is a recognized complication of lupus. Psychological support by friends and family is helpful. Your friend should also discuss it with her physician since there are a number of therapies available.
