RE THE PARKINSON SYMPTOM CALLED " FREEZING"... HAS ANYTHING BEEN FOUND TO BE EFFECTIVE IN REDUCING THE PARYLIZING EFFECTS OF THIS CONDITION?
Off state freezing can be reduced by adjusting medications to minimize the duration of the off state. Both on and off freezing may be helped by surgical procedures in selected cases. Injections of botulinum toxin (Botox) have been shown to be helpful in a small series of patients.
