What Does "Physiologic Renal Excretion is Present" Indicate?08/31/2001 |
What does this mean in reference to a bone scan report that I had done for my advanced prostate cancer: "Physiologic renal excretion is present."
The agent injected for the bone scan is excreted by the kidneys and "Physiologic renal excretion is present" indicates that the kidneys are eliminating the material in a normal manner indicationg that that your kidneys are functioning appropriately.
