Prostate Cancer

Does a Retractable Testicle and a Multinodular Goiter Affect Prostate Cancer?

09/28/2001

Question:

Does having a retractable testicle at 2, and a multinodular goiter at 14 increase a 16 year old's risk of prostate cancer? Or any other complications? The testicle fixed itself although one is still a little higher.

Answer:

There are no associated riskes with prostate cancer. The testicular problem and the thyroid problem may be associated with infertility but probably not. If this is an issue I suggest you contact a local urologist who can properly evaluate you. I hope this information is helpful to you.
