What are the Causes for Kidney Cancer?

What causes cancer of the kidneys, or a kidney?

Answer:

The cause of kidney cancer in unknown. There has been a suggested association with smoking and perhaps long term exposure to petroleum products. Some forms of kidney cancers are inherited and run in families. In most instances there is no associated cause. I hope this information is helpful to you.
