Enlarged Prostate Effect on Prostate Cancer and PSA05/29/2002 |
I am 50-years-old and have an enlarged prostate. Are people with enlarged prostates more likely to develop prostate cancer than others? Also, can an elevated PSA be caused by an enlarged prostate?
PSA can result from an enlarged prostate due to benign disease. Also there is no association between an enlarged prostate and prostate cancer. I hope this information is helpful to you.
