West Nile Symptoms
With the rise of infection of the West Nile Virus, could you please explain symtoms. I didn`t know which "forum" to place this question in; but, since the misquito would "attach" itself to the skin I placed it here.
Will there be any type of skin reaction? immune system reaction? etc...?
All residents of areas where virus activity has been identified are at risk of getting West Nile Encephalitis ; persons over 50 have the highest risk of severe disease. Most infections are mild, and symptoms include fever, headache and body aches. Occasionally there is a skin rash on the trunk of the body and swollen lymph nodes. More severe infection may be marked by headache, high fever, neck stiffness,s tupor, disorientation, coma, tremors, convulsions, muscle weakness, paralysis and rarely death.
