my friend as fallen through a glass window she a cul right through a nerv and a tendon in her arm.They have been reathatced in hospital but the doctour has told her to try and stop smoking he says smoking but not to use nicoteen replacement. Can you tell me why stoping smoking will help and why she carnt use paches.
Smoking reduces the blood flow to a person`s arms and legs, so could slow healing. Nicotine is a major factor in this reduced blood flow.
