Is it Safe to Take Garlic Supplements with Pravachol?

Question:

Will taking a garlic supplement lower cholesterol? Are there any health risk associated with this supplement? Is it same to take in conjunction with Pravachol?

Answer:

Please see the link below to an earlier response on garlic and cholesterol. In addition, the major concerns are garlic in high doses with warfarin (Coumadin). It is safe to take with Pravachol.
