Prostate Cancer Treatement with Surgery or Seeds?03/31/2003 |
My grandfather has prostate cancer. He decided to go with the surgery instead of the radiation seeds. I was wondering if it would have been better for him to get the seeds instead of the surgery. Which one would have helped more? Could the cancer cells still be there?
Both forms of therapy are effective. It is important to check the pathologist`s report after the surgery for that will give you an indication if all the tumor has been removed.
