Question:

baby is 4 months, 15 pounds, breast-fed. doing well- Should she be getting water or is breast enough?

Answer:

The American Academy of Pediatrics has stated that human milk provides all the nourishment that a baby needs for the first six months (AAP, 1997) Even in hot climates your breast milk will be sufficient and water is not needed.
