Difference Between Didrocal and Actonel
What is the difference between Didrocal and Actonel?
Didronel and Actonel are both bisphosphonates that have an effect on bone. Didronel has been approved by the FDA for treatment of Pagets Disease of the bone and a few other bone conditions, but it was not approved for osteoporosis. Actonel has been approved by the FDA for both prevention and treatment of osteoporosis.
