After radiation seed implants for prostate cancer, how important is it to stay away from other people due to the radiation?
A frequently asked question. The radiation emitted by the seeds has a very limited penetration and there is little danger to others. To be cautious, many suggest not having small children sit on your lap for a week after the procedure, but other contact is fine. I hope this information is helpful to you.
