Why when I don`t take my asthma medicine for days my chest, neck begin to stiffen and it hurts?
It is difficult for me to link relief of chest and neck `stiffness` to your asthma medications. It is possible that the chest discomfort you experience is due to poor control of asthma that results from not taking your medications. Please remember that many asthma medications work by suppressing inflammation but must be taken regularly to be effective. Using such medications intermittently may significantly diminish their benefit.
