Alzheimer`s within Left Handled People12/23/2003 |
I have been told that Left Handed people are not Susceptible to Alzheimer`s Disease. It this true?Is there a record of Left Handed people having Alzheimer`s? IF so what is the percentage?
From a clinical perspective, we do see patients who are left handed develop Alzheimer’s Disease. I performed a Literature Review and was unable to locate any statistics on this topic. From our experience, being left handed does not appear to be protective in developing the disease.
