Are Dairy products Safe? Is poultry Safe? Is Pork Safe? Is US and Canadian Beef really safe?
There is no evidence that bovine spongiform encephalopathy (mad cow disease) can be transmitted via dairy products. Poultry and swine have not been infected with this agent. As for the safety of the US and Canadian beef supply, this is a matter of debate. You can refer to the following websites for both sides of the debate: http://www.usda.gov/BSE/ http://www.commondreams.org/views04/0102-06.htm
