Is it possible for someone to have lyme disease and be misdiagnosed with ALS?
I don`t know how the diagnosis of ALS was made. If you think Lyme disease is a possibility, you can ask your doctor whether or not specific tests should be done, such as Lyme antibodies in blood and cerebrospinal fluid and Lyme PCR in spinal fluid.
