Dental and Oral Health (Children)

Childrens teeth development

04/02/2004

Question:

What could be wrong with a 1 year old who has no sign of teeths

Answer:

There may be nothing wrong with a 1 year old who has not erupted any teeth though that is later than normal. There are several conditions associated with delayed eruption of teeth, and it would be best to have your child examined by a pediatric dentist who can take radiographs and make a definitive diagnosis.
