Is There Any Effect from Prostate Digital Exam on PSA?04/15/2004 |
I had my PSA blood test 4 days after a digital examination. Can that elevate my PSA results?
Usually not. If there was a vigorous prostate massage with the exam it may occur, but this is unusual.
