Prostate Cancer |
Prognosis and Cure for Aggressive Prostate Cancer05/03/2004 |
First visit and biopsy reveals prostate cancer that is aggresive. How bad is this progrosis and what, if any, is a cure on a 73 year old male?
Varied options are present and these include radiation therapy and surgery. I would need to know more information to be more specific such as the Gleason Score, the number of biopsies taken and the percentage involvement with tumor, your PSA and also your general health.
I would expect that your physician should be able to review the pros and cons of the various options with you.
