Question:

My mother was just sent home from the hospital to die. There is nothing more medically that the doctors can do. What should we expect from her? Hospice is involved. She shakes and is very restless. The cancer is all through her abdomen, but she is very alert and responsive except when heavily medicated for pain. She is hooked up to an iv for hydration.
