Stroke

Light headedness

06/28/2004

Question:

What are some of the causes of dizziness that makes your head feels like it is getting tight around the forehead?

Answer:

"Dizziness" means different things to different people, and so I am not sure that I can answer your question.  It is important to distinguish feeling "light-headed" from "vertigo" (a sense that the world is moving around you, or that you are moving).  Neither is typically associated with headaches, which is what you seem to be describing.

If you can provide more information, then I will try to answer your question as best I can.
