Question:

If you are thin, and you do exercises for muscle to look heavier, are you going to lose weight in the process?

It is possible to decrease your weight by strength training due to the resulting increase in caloric expenditure.  However, because muscle weighs more than fat, it is also possible to increase your body weight by strength training.
