Can a person spread wart herpes through use of a home swimming pool?
Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), the cause of warts, and herpes simplex virus, the cause of genital herpes, have not been shown to be spread through swimming pools. Keeping the home swimming pool's pH and chlorine levels within the recommended ranges and checking water quality frequently will protect you from viruses and other infections.
