Medications for Asthma06/30/2004 |
I am currently taking Advair and Singulair along with Predinisone and using my breathing machine. My doctor usually gives me samples of Advair and Singulair, but has recently quit. I have no health insurance through my job and cannot afford these prescriptions. Are there any alternatives available to me? I tried the manafacturer, but was told I make 10k too much. What they don`t take into consideration is that half of that is going to child support and I live on about 17K a year. I am desperate, I can`t function without these medications.
I'm sorry for your situation. What you are asking is not so much a medical question but one requiring Social Services. You might start by checking with your local municipality for what aid services they can you refer you to.
