What Other Diseases Can Swollen Lymph Nodes Be Symptoms For?

Question:

I had a risky exposure and had swollen lymph nodes occur about a month or so afterwards, but no other symptoms occured. What other diseases could swollen lymphnodes be a result of?

Answer:

Generalized swollen lymph nodes could be due to EB virus infection, syphilis, toxoplasma infection, tularemia, Lyme disease,sarcoid,lymphoma or HIV infection.
