Chlamydia

12/20/2004

Question:

Does penicillin cure chlamydia? All the research I have read says it will not affect it.

Answer:

Doxycycline is usually the antibiotic for Chlamydia rather than penicillin. Please note that in genital infection, often multiple infections are treated simultaneously with a combination of antibiotics.
