WEIGHT LOSS &METABOLISM
I WAS WONDERING WHAT A GOOD WAY TO HELP METABOLISM SPEED UP FOR SOMEONE WHO DOESN`T HAVE A LOT OF TIME TO EXERCISE BUT NEEDS TO LOSE WEIGHT?
First, think about incorporating some type of exercise program into your life on a consistent basis. Regular cardiovascular activity improves your heart and lungs. Regular strength training improves your bone health and muscular endurance. Both of these activities will assist you in changing your body composition from more fat mass to lean muscle mass. Both of these activities will boost your metabolism and help you burn more calories. The American College of Sports Medicine recommends 20-30 minutes of cardiovascular activity, 3-5 times per week; and strength training, 2-3 times per week.
