Vitamins and healthy veins

02/22/2005

Question:

i`ve noticed lately that i pop the small veins in my fingers. This is very painful causing my finger to swell with blood and turn black. I have also popped veins on my tongue. My question is, can a vitamin deficiency cause problems with your veins. If so what vitamins are best for vein health.

Answer:

I am unaware of any vitamins that can be taken to promote vein health. Maintaining overall good nutrition is best.
