Mother in ursing home03/21/2005 |
hello my mother has ischemic and she is 78yrs old and my dad is trying to her out of the nursing home but i think thats where she needs to be.by the way my dad is 85 and can`t hardly take care of her what should i do and how???????? i need some here
Mother has ischemic what? Stroke, foot or heart? I need more specific information here. Well, who has the durable power of attorney for health? In general, it should be dictated by patient's safety...involve the social worker...have a Physical and occupational therapy assessment in the nursing home before the discharge. Home health care be used at home, if required. Explore assisted living options for both if dad is frail too.
