Dear Dr. I`ve been looking in to getting a sliding genioplasty to bring my chin forward. However, I was wondering if their was any procedure to enhance/widen the jaw line or mandible it`s self without using implants.
The sliding genioplasty works very predictably to enhance the appearance of the chin in an antero-posterior direction. If you are looking to make your jaw wider, then the only predictable method is to use implants.
