Skin pain08/08/2005 |
The past few days my skin on the right side of upper hip and thigh is painful to touch. The skin feels raw but there are no blisters. It feels like the nerve ending are on the outside of my body. What might it be?
The description you give of your right hip and thigh suggests that you are developing shingles (herpes zoster). The lesions often start with significant pain and blisters may or may not form. You need to see your primary care physician or dermatologist at your earliest convenience since that particular entity does respond to antiviral therapy.
Please see your physician immediately!
