Question:

Is any silver, or mercury used in the making or gluing of crowns?

Answer:

There is absolutely no mercury in the making or luting of crowns; however, some of the metal alloys used to make crowns contain silver. There are many metal alloys from which to choose. No luting agents contain silver.
