Can chlymidia be undetected for over six mont02/02/2006 |
i`ve had one sex partner for about 12 months and i was diagnosed with clymidia, he says i am the only person he has been with within that time. is this possible? can the symtoms present themselves this late after infection?
Sexually active adolescent women should be screened for chlamydial infection at least annually, even if symptoms are not present. Asymptomatic infection is common among both men and women. This infection occurs frequently among sexually active adults.
