can a male experience pelvic inflammatory disease like a woman can.is so what are their symptoms.
Male and female reproductive organs are different. Female pelvic organs include ovaries and uterus. Male pelvic organs include prostate gland and part of the vas deferens and seminal vesicles. Both men and women normally also have parts of the colon and rectum, urinary bladder, ureters, and urethra, along with a variety of muscles, nerves and blood vessels traversing the pelvis. Pelvic pain occurring in either sex should be brought to the attention of the person's physician.
