Diminishing desire in sex in old age

Question:

Does diminishing sexual desire with the growing age around 50 years indicate impotence or a mere biological change ? Is it natural in such age for changes in performance and frequency also.?

Answer:

This could be low testosterone, among other factors.  Please see a clinician to be evaluated.
