Hemochromatosis bronzing02/08/2006 |
Does the generalized darkening of skin color (often referred to as bronzing)that occurs with hemochromatosis, occur equally over the surface of the skin? Does sun exposure play any role in where the bronzing occurs or the degree of bronzing in a particular ?
Hemochromatosis bronzing of the skin can be generalized and is probably worse in sun-exposed areas of skin, although that would be affected by the person's ancestry and genetics. But the bronzing could occur equally over the skin surface in the right setting.
