Sudden increase exercise affects03/17/2006 |
When I run on the treadmill and abruptly increase my resistance by 10%, sometimes I notice a palpitation or shortness of breath. It is resolved when I reduce the exertion level or if I increase steadily. Is this normal?
Increased heart rate and respiration are normal responses to increased resistance.
