Kidneys and Actonel05/10/2006 |
I donated a kidney 3 years ago and now have some ostepenia of the hips. Doctor suggested Actonel and I was wondering if this is safe for me. The kidney function is good . Thank you
If renal function is good, there should not be a problem taking Actonel. The drug is not recommended for patients with a creatinine clearance below 30 mL/min.
