can an overbite be corrected by wearing braces?
Certainly - depending upon the age of the patient and whether the problem is entirely the result of tooth position or if there is an underlying skeletal problem. The greater the skeletal problem, the more difficult the problem. Your orthodontist can assess this through a skeletal radiograph called a cephalogram. This is part of the diagnosis that is so important to treatment planning.
