Fosomax and Symptoms of Jaw Disease05/22/2006 |
If I take Fosomax, would I have symptoms to suggest jaw disease if it exists in my body?
The jaw problem associated with Fosamax and bisphosphonates in general have to do with infection and/or dental surgery. Be sure to promptly treat any dental infections and discontinue bisphosphonates prior to dental surgery. The medication can be restarted after the area is completely healed.
